la classy abaya (black)

An abaya designed around a trompe-l’œil layered effect. At first glance, the silhouette appears to combine an abaya with a structured inner vest layered underneath. In reality, the entire construction is integrated into a single abaya, creating the depth of layering without the need for multiple pieces.

The integrated inner panel forms a crossover construction at the front, creating a clean, structured line before fastening with a carefully selected mother-of-pearl effect button. The overlapping panels and different lines add depth to the silhouette and create the distinctive layered appearance of the design.

The defining detail of la classy lies in its sleeves. A slit sleeve construction reveals delicate floral lace sewn into the inside of the cuffs, allowing it to subtly extend beyond the sleeve. The transparency and intricacy of the lace contrast beautifully with the smooth drape of the crepe, adding a refined finish to the piece.

Crafted from premium crepe, la classy is built around contrasts: fluidity and structure, minimalism and detail, the illusion of multiple layers within the simplicity of a single garment.
