la abaya plissée (beige)

A piece entirely built around pleats and volume. This abaya draws inspiration from architectural approaches to garment construction and from designers who transformed pleating into a signature language, such as Issey Miyake.

Crafted from a fully pleated synthetic fabric, the entire surface features a fine, continuous texture. The pleating brings dimension to the fabric while allowing it to retain movement and lightness despite the generous proportions of the silhouette.

The cut is intentionally oversized and voluminous, with relaxed shoulders and wide sleeves that enhance its sense of movement. A soft stand collar rises gently around the neckline, continuing the pleated construction and reinforcing the sculptural character of the piece.
